More Troubles For Kofi

It looks like (against my personal prediction) the oil-for-food scandal is now self-sustaining. According to CNSNews.com, congressional investigators have just received documents they have been trying to get the Volcker commission to release.

"Kofi Annan will be a very worried man," Fox News reported on Thursday, now that Congress has been given documents that may expose "damning information" about Annan's role in the oil-for-food scandal.

I'll bet he's worried. I do hope this news will escalate quickly enough to provide a little reform-minded impetus to John Bolton's nomination.

Yes, Kofi Annan's worried--the same respected leader of refined civility that provides moral justification to those who would keep mass-murderers in power.
