Dems: Decisive Or Divisive?
In a speech on Thursday to the Take Back America political conference, DNC chairman Howard Dean said:
"The one thing that we have to do as a Democratic party is not be afraid to be different from the Republicans - stand up for what we believe! Stand up for what we believe!"
I am perfectly in agreement with this sentiment--honest! It's the battle of ideas that makes our two party system work.
So, Mr. Dean, when the other side stands up for what they believe, don't throw a spittle-flecked fit and call them "divisive". We're just standing up for what we believe, you know.
