Uh-Oh

According to the September edition of The American Enterprise:

Historians studying a newly discovered fragment of the oldest existing copy of the New Testament have concluded that the "mark of the Beast" is more likely 616, not 666.

The crackpot theory industry is working overtime, I'm sure.

What is important is that, if the "1" is written as a straight line, this number can still be displayed upside down and then dramatically turned over in horror movies. Had it been "626", that would truly have been a disaster (especially for Mazda).

What type of research do you have to be doing to reveal this type of info anyway?
